The first half of 2025 has been defined by uncertainty — with shifting policies, rising tariffs, and economic headwinds testing the resilience of businesses and investors alike. Yet, even amid short-term stagflation, cracks of opportunity are appearing: CRE demand remains surprisingly stable, construction pipelines are shrinking, and 2026 is shaping up to be a stronger year.
In this outlook, we unpack the scenarios ahead, what they mean for property sectors, and how you can navigate today’s choppiness while positioning for tomorrow’s growth. Don’t miss this essential read to understand the risks, resilience, and opportunities shaping the rest of 2025 — and beyond.
While uncertainty and volatility can be unsettling, they also create windows of opportunity for those prepared to act strategically. Now is the time to reassess your risk profile, stay focused on long-term fundamentals, and capitalize on market dislocations. Look for high-quality assets, necessity-driven sectors, and moments when motivated sellers emerge. With inflation and rates likely to remain elevated compared to pre-pandemic norms, commercial real estate continues to offer a resilient hedge and attractive returns over time.
